Chainsaw Man: i love fire punch. grew up with manga like Gunnm. so i dont share the public opinion that the author is "crazy". lol. not to mention, i find the manga of Chainsaw Man is just mid. the 8 vol of fire punch was very impactful for me. it's really deep. and 11 vol of Chainsaw Man just like a regular action movie. felt nothing. it is the opposite of "crazy" which makes me feel lacking. then comes the anime adaptation. i love it. the pacing gives it a lot of space to breath. theres some sort of contrast of daily life and intense battles which i didnt get from the manga. or it's just i read manga too speedy lol – ryan
