Chainsaw Man: i love fire punch. grew up with manga like Gunnm. so i dont share the public opinion that the author is "crazy". lol. not to mention, i find the manga of Chainsaw Man is just mid. the 8 vol of fire punch was very impactful for me. it's really deep. and 11 vol of Chainsaw Man just like a regular action movie. felt nothing. it is the opposite of "crazy" which makes me feel lacking. then comes the anime adaptation. i love it. the pacing gives it a lot of space to breath. theres some sort of contrast of daily life and intense battles which i didnt get from the manga. or it's just i read manga too speedy lol – ryan
Bocchi the Rock!: for highest rating of its season, i find this series boring, unfunny and fake. very exaggerated approach on social anxiety to a point i feel frustrated not funny. and i want to see their passion for music. but guess musics just a tool to fit in to become popular and overcome their issues. so definitely not for me but a great work for many. – ryan
Summer Time Rendering: i like the manga until the last arc. it was messy and stupid. and i think the anime adaptation makes it better. the last arc flows better this way. the biggest negative point is the bgm. its either unnoticeable or unbelievably misused. – ryan
